Adriana Degreas, designer of one of the top beachwear brands in Brazil, has opened her American flagship store at the shops at Merrick Park. The designer brand currently has four stores in Brazil and had a previous pop up location in South Miami. Over 150 guests attended the opening which was hosted by journalist Danie Gómez Ortigoza, blogger Kelly Saks, TV personality Andrea Minski, and model Johanna Cure who were all dressed in the designer’s tropical resort – styled collection.
As guests entered the 5,800 sqaure foot store they were greeted with Veuve Cliquot, tropical bites, and a saxophone player. Attendees socialized and shopped the collection as sounds by DJ Kika, who was rocking an Adriana Degreas two-piece swimsuit and cover up, resonated throughout the room. Interior designer Juan Camacho (best known for his design The Webster’s iconic interiors) stuck to Adriana Degreas’ Brazilian roots and created a tropical yet clean, modern aesthetic for the space that matches Adriana’s line as well. Through the use of banana leaf print wallpaper, French Art Deco furniture, dark wood floors, palm trees, bronze fixtures and eye-catching objects, the store encapsulates the tropical yet luxurious vibe Adriana Degreas is famous for.
The Village of Merrick Park was brilliantly chosen for the permanent location of the store. The outdoor shopping mall draws international and local shoppers alike and features beautiful scenery. As Adriana Degreas says “..it feels like a meeting place where people of all different nationalities unite. It was the perfect next step for our brand to have a home here.“ The new store is located at 342 San Lorenzo Avenue, first floor, Coral Gables, FL 33146.
