Weekend Roundup: Jeezy, Taboo and Canelo Alvarez Party in Las Vegas

Jeezy made his first appearance at Drai’s Nightclub, Taboo got in a show at the Flamingo and Canelo Alvarez celebrated his victory at Jewel Nightclub over the weekend in Las Vegas.

Rapper Jeezy made a his debut at Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell on Friday night. The trap genre pioneer performed a full-length concert featuring hits such as “Who Dat,” “Bang,” “I Luv It” and more. After his set, Jeezy returned to his stage-side VIP booth to celebrate with friends while drinking Moët & Chandon and Avion Tequila.

Several familiar faces were spotted enjoying the late-night show, including reality star Blac Chyna, who was seen sipping champagne at Jeezy’s VIP booth; Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson; Tennessee Titans linebacker Brian Orakpo; Arizona Cardinals cornerback Justin Bethel; and Indiana Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson.

Saturday afternoon, Taboo of The Black Eyed Peas performed a live DJ set for fans at the Flamingo G0 Pool. The hip-hop artist performed some of The Black Eyed Peas’ biggest smash hits live, including “Let’s Get It Started” and “I Gotta Feeling.” At one point, he even invited guests to dance with him up on the stage, and handed the microphone out to fans to sing along to their favorite Black Eyed Peas songs.

Boxer Canelo Alvarez took his official after-fight party to Jewel Nightclub at Aria after defeating Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. in the ring on Saturday night. Joined by his girlfriend Fernanda Gomez, the couple walked the red carpet and sat inside the DJ booth. Cocktail waitresses all dressed in boxing robes and holding up signs that read “The Champ is Here” paraded by while the entire room chanted his name.

Former boxing great Oscar De La Hoya, who now works as Alvarez’s promoter, was also spotted celebrating his client’s exciting victory.
