Atlanta’s First and Favorite Food Truck Yumbii Launches Beverage Program at its New Taqueria
Yumbii, the pioneer and favorite food truck in Atlanta, continues to impress us on a daily basis. Yumbii devotees (and there are plenty of these) can stop fretting about where they can catch the Yumbii trucks because they opened a permanent home. The taqueria offers both counter service and seating for dine-in customers and now the big news is…..they just launched their beverage program here. The beverage program complete with house-made margaritas, Spanish wine, local beer and coffee is designed to complement the dishes blending Asian, Mexican and Southern Flavors.

Now, if you don’t catch one of the two food trucks cruising around town, you can stop into the South Buckhead location for the same street food experience with the added bonus of a cool beer or a delicious margarita on a hot summer day in Atlanta.
And just like the delicious street-style food that the city has come to love, Yumbii is putting the same love and freshness into their drinks. The margaritas, made daily using fresh-squeezed lime juice and 100% agave tequila, will be the mainstay on the beverage menu and you can expect a rotating selection of specialities like a Passion Fruit Margarita and a Spicy Margarita with a Korean chili rim.
The beer list is being build out with local brews like Creature Comforts’ Tropicalia and classic Mexican brews like Dos Equis. And, just another example of how Yumbii supports local community, they are serving hot and cold coffee from Atlanta-based East Pole Company. And, Yumbii’s pared down wine list features a selection of Spanish varieties like 100% Verdejo ( a fresh, crisp, white wine) by the glass and bottle.
Yumbii was founded by Atlanta native Carson Young (pictured above), and was truly the pioneer in Atlanta’s food truck movement, rolling out the city’s first food truck in 2010. Earning a number of awards and accolades over the years, Yumbii proves once again to be on the forefront, giving Atlanta what it wants before we even know we want it.
