Although he’s designed a luxe collection of entertaining accessories, interiors guru Jay Jeffers has never created a complete furniture line. Until now. At the High Point Market late last month in North Carolina, the Bay Area designer debuted his first-ever collection of furniture. The capsule is in partnership with Arteriors, a luxury home good producer who launched Jeffers celebrated collection of ice buckets, cocktail shakers, and and lamps in 2015.

The new line features all sorts of fabulousness—think tables, couches, lamps, and armchairs. For inspiration, Jeffers looked to the simple designs of Belgium and 1940s Italian furniture stylists Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouve. He uses interesting, often geometric shapes and refined finishes to make each piece feel one of a kind.

“As I was designing the collection, I thought about hosting a party and everything you might need in the room – a sexy bar cabinet that is both beautiful and functional, a comfortable sofa that looks handsome from the back so it can float in the room, modular tables that can be pulled together for an intimate dinner party or pulled apart for a larger gathering, and the best lighting to make the room glow,” Jeffers said in a statement. The entire line is meant to look collected—as if a homeowner acquired each piece over time, so it doesn’t feel too matchy match, but sophisticated and curated.

Jeffers uses unique luxe materials—like a special gray ceruse oak finish that was developed especially for the collaboration with Arteriors, etched brass, and seeded glass— to give each piece a timeless, elegant, and original look. The items can be found online or at Jay Jeffers Tenderloin district boutique. Below, we share some of the pieces that are on our wishlist.
