The Three Most Spectacular Hublot’s At Baselworld 2017

When you say Baselworld, you say the most spectacular and impressive watches. One of the highlights of this year’s edition was once more Hublot. It has almost become a yearly tradition, in which the brand not only brings new, innovative watches to the show but also lots of them. That makes selecting the three most spectacular an almost daunting task……

Hublot Depeche Mode

Big Bang Unico Depeche Mode
The new album, new tour, means a new watch! Hublot renewed their alliance for a better world with Depeche Mode. With their “Watch for Water” the will raise funds for “Charity: Water.” This non-profit organization is focused on bringing safe and clean drinking water to as many people as they can in developing countries. The new Big Bang is equipped with the Unico chronograph movement, which is fitted in a black, ceramic case featuring Clous de Paris. These are very small pyramids that extend all over the case, crown and push buttons, giving the watch that unique, rock star look!!

Hublot MP-09 Tourbillon Bi-Axis

MP-09 Tourbillon Bi-Axis
It is hard to believe that the MP-09 is only Hublot’s very first bi-axis tourbillon, yet the brand knows to elevate it above the rest right away! By boldly placing the bi-axis tourbillon for all to see at the bottom of the watch, they don’t make it easy for themselves. The sapphire crystal of the watch is made out of a single piece, and highly complicated to create, meeting the exacting standards of the brand, as well as this piece. The date function is another way in which this watch moves over to the next level. Surrounding the dial in a semi-circle the correct date is highlighted from below and can be fast adjusted by a pusher on the side of the case.

Hublot Ferrari 70th anniversary

Techframe Ferrari Chronograph
Ferrari is celebrating this year its 70th anniversary, and as partner Hublot created the perfect watch to highlight this moment. The Techframe Ferrari Chronograph is in many ways the watch equivalent of one of the prancing horses. Designed by Ferrari’s Head of Design Flavio Manzoni, it looks like a chassis is build around the Hublot movement. It features a flying tourbillon and a mono-pusher chronograph. The pusher of this complication not only adds to the aerodynamics of the watch but most certainly also to its cool looks! The Techframe Ferrari Chronograph is available in King Gold, Titanium and the highly durable PEEK carbon.
