If you’re out and about this week, keep your eyes peeled for Hollywood’s leading ladies and gentlemen. The San Francisco International Film Festival started on Wednesday night and continues from now until April 19. On Friday, April 7, there was a gala to celebrate the festival’s 60th year at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts plus a screening of People You May Know at SFMOMA. The film stars Usher and he was in town to promote the screening. Also in SF to receive a tribute award? Actor Ethan Hawke who debuted his new film Maudie.

American Express hosted a giant Warriors party on Saturday night at Pier 35 on the Embarcadero. The event was the fourth “All for Dub Nation” watch party and its largest to date with several hundred AmEx card holders in attendance. Local food and beverage merchants including Chubby Noodle, Don Pistos, Central Station Deli & Market, Three Twins Ice Cream, The Candy Store and Jackson Family Wines were on hand to feed the masses. Guests were able to mingle with former Warriors basketball players, Muggsy Bogues, Antawn Jamison, Adonal Foyle, Tony Delk and Corey Maggette. The highlight of the night? The Dubs 123-101 win over the Pelicans.

The de Young Museum debuted its new exhibit, The Summer of Love Experience: Art, Fashion, and Rock & Roll, with a bohemian-inspired event on Thursday night. Guests partied like it was 1967 with many of the artists, designers, and musicians featured in the exhibit on hand to tell the tales of this epic era. Many of the city’s most stylish woman—Sobia Shaikh, Sonya Molodetskaya, Farah Makras, and Chrissa Pappas Sioukas—donned their finest vintage frocks to attend the opening.
