After its initial release was named ‘Best Blanc de Noirs in the World’ in 2016, Champagne Armand de Brignac has returned for round two with its Blanc de Noirs Assemblage Two (A2), which arrives in the U.S this week. Following a blind tasting of 250 competing cuvées, the Jay-Z owned champagne was awarded the utmost acclaim, and its second assemblage is expected to be no different. “The second assemblage reveals more notes of peppermint, stone fruit and an intense minerality. As you taste this champagne you have the feeling that its development is just at the beginning and it will flourish and intensify with even further cellaring, potentially 15 years or more,” said Chef de Cave, Jean-Jacques Cattier.
