The Dramatic Transformation: Head to Yebo Beach Haus and Get Stick Your Toes in The Proverbial Sand

Following the winter pop-up of Yebo Ski Haus, Kelly Anthony and her Wolf Design Group team have transformed the Buckhead restaurant from slope to sand after just two days of working their magic. Nearing the one year anniversary of the restaurant owned by the power dynamic duo husband and wife Kelly and Justin Anthony, Yebo Beach Haus is back and better than ever. From the food and cocktails to the entire atmosphere, there really is no place that compares.

“As the temperatures rise, people want that beach feeling, and being able to fully embrace this weather and the happiness it creates. We really went all-out ski lodge, so this year for Yebo Beach Haus, we’re doing the same – all out beach shack with a Venice Beach feel,” explains Anthony.

Yebo Beach Haus offers a refreshed menu with lighter, seasonal fare, but still the perfect amount of comfort food touch. From now through the fall, guests can look forward to the team’s trademark South African-American fusion-focused menu, and catch some old favorites as well as new additions. New menu items include: melon and burrata; oxtail tacos, coconut ceviche and more. But don’t worry, last year’s favorites like the cape oysters and peri peri prawn tacos are still on the menu. Also check out their new libation additions like the “Champagne Coast”  with gin lane, aperol, orange, lime bitters and sparkling wine.
Kelly Anthony says she drew from Yebo Beach Haus’ signature Hamptons-meets-California inspiration to instill a newfound feeling of sandy toes and strolls on the boardwalk. However, this year’s shack features a boho-beach vibe; walls adorned with album covers and surfboards. Yebo Beach Haus is now open for dinner Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday 5 to 10:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m.

A Look Ahead: Two Fitness Studios To Open in May in The Shops Buckhead

Just when we thought the roster in the Shops Buckhead couldn’t possibly get any better, we just got word on two new openings later this Spring. Both fitness studios. F45 Training Studio and Highland Yoga. F45, which is slated for a May opening, is the first for Georgia but is all the rage in the fitness world. F45 Training combines elements of conventional weight training and cardio with functional movements in a high-intensity interval workout. The 45-minute classes change daily and are designed to work every muscle group. Expect a high-energy experience with a serious burn.

As for Highland Yoga, this will be the third in the city. The Atlanta-based yoga studio is known for its unique style of hot yoga that combines vigorous power vinyasa, creative movement and mindfulness practices. Highland Yoga is also scheduled for a May opening.

These two new fitness studios will join Flywheel at The Shops Buckhead, which is now open.
