Georgia-based Fashion Label Open in Shops Buckhead

South City Kitchen to Open in Second Face of Avalon

As most of you have heard, Avalon in Alpharetta has upped their game with their phase 2, donned Boulevard East opened this month, nearly doubling the size of this community.  And it seems like every hot retailer (South Moon Under) and restaurant are getting in on the Alpharetta proverbial train. Fittingly on the helm of the expansion, Fifth Group Restaurants just announced plans for the opening of their fourth South City Kitchen outpost at Avalon, bringing Atlanta’s favorite contemporary southern concept to Alpharetta. Slated to open in early 2018, the restaurant and bar will add its signature big city energy and southern warmth to the burgeoning Atlanta-area community. South City Kitchen Avalon will occupy 6,000 square feet within The Hotel Avalon, a 330-key Autograph Collection hotel  a will open in January 2018 in tandem with Alpharetta Conference Center.

Haute Fit: Wellness Level at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta

Twenty-three rooms on the dedicated 7th Floor of the hotel will be stocked with yoga mats, foam rollers and a stability ball for DIY workouts or restorative respite. Daily complimentary passes will be provided granting access to Atlanta’s elite 191 Resolution Fitness, located in lunging distance and featuring a roster of next-level classes from Octane Cross Circuit to Tabata Core. 

It gets better. A selection of rooms with be outfitted with bikes by Peloton, one of the industry’s most respected and acclaimed spinning companies, for the ultimate in indoor fitness. For this new Wellness Level, the hotel has partnered with PURE, which enlists the newest technology in air purification, specifically easing the stay for guests who suffer from allergies or asthma resulting in improved sleep, clearer breathing, and reduced scratchy throat and watery eyes. The wellness emphasis goes beyond gear in-room.
