Las Vegas restaurants have it going on when it comes to pasta dishes. Homemade red sauces, pastas made in house, family recipes and made-from-scratch traditions come together to make any Italian proud of the pasta dishes found in the city. Here, a look at five of the best pasta dishes in Las Vegas.

1 Carbone

Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick brought their New York-based Italian restaurant to Aria in 2015, and now Las Vegans know what the glamour, table side service and showmanship are all about in this lovely room. Here, order the spicy rigatoni vodka, made with an onion puree, Calabrian chilies and tomatoes bathing in maccheroni made in house.

2 Scarpetta

Scarpetta, Italian for little shoe, dishes out Scott Conant’s Italian fare at the Cosmopolitan. No meal here is complete without his spaghetti with tomato and basil, a simple dish that Conant elevates to over-the-top.

3 Buddy V’s Ristorante

Buddy “Cake Boss” Valastro uses his family’s vast catalog of recipes for the dishes at his Palazzo restaurant. His lasagna comes from Nonna with Italian sausage, beef and pork, ricotta, mozzarella and provolone.

4 Giada

Giada De Laurentiis chose Las Vegas as the home of her first restaurant, serving Italian fare with a California twist. A favorite? Her lemon spaghetti.

5 Carnevino

Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich hallmarks of their culinary style — handmade pastas. Try squash agnolotti, gnocchi, tagliatelle Bolognese or spaghetti Nero with crab.
