Miami Music Week Recap 2017: A Look at The Best Parties

The world’s hottest artists in the music industry flooded the 305 for Miami Music Week this past week, and a stacked line-up of posh pool parties, club concerts and music events at the city’s hottest venues ensued. Here’s a look at some of the highlights:

“BELVEDERE X NOISEY: BEHIND THE SCENE” BOAT PARTY

Belvedere Vodka held the second installation of “Belvedere x Noisy: Behind the Scene“, an event series in collaboration with Vice’s music channel, Noisey, on Wednesday with an intimate boat party aboard the Grand Floridian Yacht. Guests danced the night away to the beats of the up-and-coming DJ Kittens and sipped on signature Belvedere cocktails featuring the delicious Lemon Rosemary Smash.

THE LIVING ROOM AT FAENA

The Faena Hotel Miami Beach was popping off all week long with a line up of cocktail parties at The Living Room. The week-long festivities began on Monday with an event hosted by Zacapa Rum, where attendees sipped on craft cocktails and grooved to the beats of DJ Funky Therapy and Trio Cubano, while Perrier-Jouët rounded up the weekend with a party on Sunday featuring a mixologist’s choice of cocktails and music by Diego CaramellaKeba Music and DJ Funky Therapy.

DELANO BEACH CLUB

The Delano Beach Club was the place to be all week when it came to pool parties. Every afternoon from 2-11 p.m., the outdoor venue filled up with bikini-clad partiers for music events like RUMORS presented by Guy Gerber on Friday, The Birdhouse presented by Claude VonStroke on Saturday, The Playground Pool Party with Klingande on Sunday.

THE MUSIC LOUNGE by BMF Media +iHeart Media at W South Beach

Party-goers headed to the W Hotel South Beach on Friday for an afternoon of private pool amenities, open bar and performances by the biggest names in the music industry. The event, sponsored by BMF Media and iHeart Media, served up an endless supply of Heineken Beer and craft cocktails while guests soaked up the pool-side sun. The bungalow also featured a woman’s “dream closet” and a men’s gifting lounge designed by boohoo.com

LIV NIGHTCLUB

LIV Nightclub saw its usual crowd of A-list celebrities this past weekend, where Paris Hilton was spotted partying alongside celebrated DJs Steve Aoki and Hardwell on Saturday for a performance by David Guetta. The celebrations continued at the renowned South Beach hotspot with LIV on Sunday, where celebs like ZeddChantal Jeffries, Flo RidaNikki Minaj and 2Chainz were seen closing out the weekend in style.

ROCKWELL MIAMI

Rockwell Miami started out the festivities this past week with a performance by Bob Sinclar on Wednesday where guests danced into the night amongst Miami’s most notorious night owls. The night was followed by weekend performances by artists like DJ Irie on Friday and an exclusive hiphop set by Chuckie on Saturday.

E11EVEN MIAMI

As usual, the iconic Miami nightclub was alive at all times of the night with blasting beats and bottle service. Some of the biggest names in the industry performed, including Diplo and Jauz on Friday, MAKJSlushiiSultan & Shepard and Zedd on Saturday and performances by CarnageLil Jon, Damaged Goods and Mija to close out the week on Sunday.

HYDE BEACH AT SLS SOUTH BEACH

Hyde Beach hosted a week-long line-up of parties and performances, where big names like Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and more had guests dancing through the afternoon and into the night. Dada Life and Carnage closed out the epic weekend with a Sunday performance that had celebrities like Rob Gronkowski jamming out on stage.
