Proper Brits never ignore a good St Paddy’s celebration and Gordon Ramsay is no exception. In the shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral, Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen provides the perfect setting to celebrate the booziest holiday of the year. The New York loft inspired restaurant has specially crafted a Guinness and Champagne “Black Velvet Cocktail” to start your night on the right note. The restaurant even has two sleek bars which means less queuing and more drinking. Perfect for a post-work drop in, join in and feel part of the buzzing pulse of central London.

Carousel is a fabulous host restaurant which welcomes an array of different chefs for supper clubs every few days. If you’re looking to celebrate St Patrick’s day in a more refined way you’re in luck. Belfast’s Michelin-starred OX will be taking over downstairs at Carousel for one night only. Head chef Stephen Toman will be cooking up a three-course dinner featuring some of Ireland’s finest produce and showing us how it isn’t all about beer. Menu superstars include scallops, celeriac and sea urchin, chateaubriand with asparagus and black garlic. Space is limited, so act snappy and don’t miss out.

This City pub is known for its raucous celebrations and the party levels are just as high on St Patrick's Day. The Water Poet is hosting an evening of Irish food, beer and whiskey for a fun-filled pub night out. An all-Irish menu will be on offer for 5-days prior to the big day and guests can opt for whiskey and beer pairings alongside the food. We advise you to eat something stodgy prior to attending and greet that guinness-lined bar head on. Irish craft beer brewers will be in attendance looking to shake hands and answer questions...just try not to slur.

Guinness is gorgeous but perhaps it’s whiskey which floats your boat. Corrigan’s will be hosting a St Paddy’s Day masterclass in good old Irish whiskey at their very own Dickie’s bar. The event will involve the teaching and making of 2 cocktails per person, canapes fresh from the kitchen and a recipe card for you to take home where you can continue to test your new skills. Follow up your class buzz with dinner in Corrigan’s restaurant where they’re hosting a week long menu featuring Irish staples like collar of bacon with truffled cabbage and treacle Guinness tart with whiskey cream. Sounds like a plan.

Camden Market is a jovial spot most days of the week but the cheeriness is cranked up a few notches on St Paddy’s. The canal-side market area will be strewn with entertainment including live music from Irish bands, Irish food, lots of Guinness and even some Irish dance lessons - for when you’re feeling a lot braver after a few pints. Look out for the limited edition Guinness doughnuts from Crosstown. They will also be screening the Ireland v England Six Nations game. Get ready for some good old fashioned drinking, dancing and football rivalry.
