The Boston Flower & Garden Show was in town this weekend at the Seaport World Trade Center. From lectures on organic seed starting and cooking demonstrations from the garden to designing floral wreaths and learning pruning tips from an arborist, the five-day expo, which wrapped up on Sunday, gave both first-time and experienced gardeners an inside look at some spring tips to make your garden look beautiful.
Billy Crystal was in town Friday night at the Boch Center Wang Theatre with Bonnie Hunt for his “Spend the night with Billy Crystal Tour.”
This weekend, the Museum of Fine Arts unveiled its newest exhibit, “Memory Unearthed The Lodz Ghetto Photographs of Henryk Ross,” running through July 30. Here, you can view more than 200 photographs of Holocaust along with some of Ross’ personal artifacts, including his own identity card.
Tonight at the Museum of Fine Arts, don’t miss the 13th annual Taste of Ginger to benefit Joslin Diabetes Center’s Asian American Diabetes Initiative. The culinary event will features some of Boston’s best chefs such as Joanne Chang, Jasper White, Andy Husbands and Dave Becker.

sweetgreen recently announced its first-ever collaboration in Boston with Chef Ken Oringer. Boston’s own James Beard award winning chef has created The Toro Bowl available at all Boston locations through the end of May. The flavorful bowl named after Oringer’s restaurant, which was inspired by his well known Spanish flavor combinations, contains quinoa, hot chickpeas, kale, roasted potatoes, roasted corn + tomatoes + jalapenos, local radishes, basil, feta, lemon squeeze, sweetgreen hot sauce and charred jalapeno yogurt dressing.
