Whether you are an early riser or have trouble getting that head start in the morning, prefer a sweet treat or savory indulgence, we have rounded up some of the best spots in Boston to get your weekend brunch on. From a rooftop haute spot across from the Public Garden to a live music favorite in the South End, here’s a look at five of the best brunches in Boston.

1 Sunday City Brunch

Langham Hotel
One of Boston's best brunches is also the city's most lavish. Tucked inside the Langham Hotel at Café Fleuri you will find the most decadent buffet at this Financial District haute spot. Every Sunday from September through June, Executive Chef Mark Sapienza creates an incredible display of New England flavors with dishes like house-smoked maple cured Atlantic salmon. Diners here enjoy live music while getting started with some freshly rolled sushi before moving onto shrimp cocktail and local oysters. After that, there's everything imaginable here (think create-your-own North End style pasta station, crepes, omelets, made-to-order Belgian waffles, a carving station of prime rib, antipasto and crab cakes). The dessert stations are not only worth a mention but worthy of a nod as they hail from their famous Chocolate Bar.

2 Taj Boston

Taj Boston
Spring is one of the most beautiful seasons here in Boston as the flowers are all in bloom. When the Sunday brunch returns to the Taj Hotel's rooftop in a few weeks, diners will enjoy one of the best views in town. From April through November, the hotel hosts the brunch buffet on the hotel’s rooftop. This is one of the best views of the city across from the Public Garden, which will be in full bloom. From made-to-order breakfast selections, an impressive raw bar, hearty carving stations, and desserts made in-house, this haute brunch gives Bostonians many reasons to celebrate this spring.

3 The Beehive

The Beehive
The weekend brunch scene in the South End is all abuzz with live music. That is, if you head over to The Beehive where you won't see the traditional breakfast and lunch finds; instead, you will discover new flavors like North African style eggs Shakshuka with Moroccan sausage; roasted turkey hash with scrambled eggs; and poutine topped with short ribs and poached eggs. A live jazz band plays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a blues band comes on at 8 p.m. if you decide to linger here all day.

4 Henrietta's Table

Henrietta's Table
For late risers, head over the bridge to Henrietta's Table in Cambridge's Harvard Square. Located in The Charles Hotel, this all-you-can-eat brunch gets started at noon and runs until 3 p.m. Breakfast fans can nosh on made-to-order stuffed omelets, waffles, bacon, sausage and ham. Move onto the lunch assortment of grilled veggies, a full raw bar, a selection of cheeses, pates, and terrines, a carving station, hot entrees, including a vegetarian pasta served with unlimited orange juice, coffee and tea. A three-course brunch is also offered on Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m.

5 Mooo

Mooo
Nestled inside the luxe XV Beacon property in Beacon Hill, hearty appetites come to Mooo, as the name implies, for the massive 24-ounce bone-in Delmonico and eggs prepared any way. If you aren't carnivore crazy first thing in the morning, lighten things up with a granola parfait, warm cinnamon buns or a spinach and egg white omelet. Heartier appetites can indulge in a brioche French toast with caramelized bananas, duck confit hash with sunny side eggs or traditional eggs Benedict. If the 24-ounce Delmonico seems like too much of an indulgence, go for the Rancher's Sunny Side Eggs and 12-ounce ribeye and you surely won’t leave here hungry.
