Warriors darling and NBA sensation, Steph Curry, surprised the crowd at Oracle Arena on Saturday night. During a timeout of the game against the Brooklyn Nets, a fan was playing a skee ball-type game with cash prizes. Curry must have been watching her from the huddle because as she made her final attempt to score money, he ran in, grabbed the ball, and threw it into the $5000 bin. Of course, the crowd went wild and the girl, now $5,000 richer, went home with a wonderful story. View the heartwarming video below.

Meanwhile Curry’s wife, Ayesha, was living it up at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival in Miami. The star of Food Network’s Ayesha’s Homemade hosted a tailgate-themed party on Thursday night where she charred ribs with a blow torch. She also was a judge at Rachael Ray’s Burger Bash, won Guy Fieri’s Food Fight, and performed a culinary demo.

A new study proves what we’ve already known: the traffic in the Bay Area is getting worse. The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting on the survey conducted by Inrix that rates San Francisco and its surrounding regions as the fourth-most-congested metropolitan area in the world. Los Angeles, Moscow, and New York beat out SF for the most trafficked areas—but Bay Area denizens still spend a shocking 83 hours per year in traffic.
Oakland native Mahershala Ali won the Oscar for best supporting actor last night for his groundbreaking role in Moonlight. Ali was raised in Hayward and went to school at St. Mary’s College, where he was on a basketball scholarship. The theater program director at the university, Rebecca Engle, told NBC Bay Area that she remembers the student well. “My memory of him is still really powerful from the things that he said,” Engle said. “It was clear that he is an old soul. He was wise, direct and honest about the things he said.” Ali is also known for his roles in House of Cards, the Hunger Games series, and Hidden Figures.
