One of Boston’s most stylish and hautest night in film, food and fashion is coming to town Sunday night. The Ellie Fund‘s 21st annual red carpet gala, which is being held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, brings about 350 of Boston’s most stylish fashionistas together for the 89th Annual Academy Awards being hosted by WCVB-TV’s Ed Harding and Maria Stephanos.

This year’s 2017 Rose Award Recipient goes to ARS Restoration Specialists in recognition of their commitment to the fund. Since 2013, they have contributed more than $375,000 to the Ellie Fund, which provides support services to breast cancer patients, including providing transportation to medical appointments, childcare, housekeeping, grocery assistance and nutritious prepared/delivered meals while in treatment.

Sunday night’s black-tie event will feature live music by Louie Bello and the Northern Lights Band, chef stations hosted by BostonChefs.com, a Silent Auction for travel packages, tickets and dining experiences. A live auction will also be held featuring vacation packages and items from Tom Brady and Julian Edelman that you can bid on while cheering on Boston’s own Casey Affleck for a hopeful win for Best Actor for his role in the local film “Manchester by the Sea.”

For the past five years, Massachusetts’ own Elyse Fine Jewelers will be well represented at this year’s Academy Awards. This year, gemologist, designer and owner Richard Berberian sent over 20 of his finest hand crafted diamonds earrings, pearl necklaces, precious stones and rings to the styling suite (the largest number allowed) for the actors to peruse before Berberian is alerted of confirmed wears. Many celebrities select their jewelry the night of the show so he won’t know the exact number of confirmed wears, but he has six already that include Patrick Osborne, nominated for Best Animated Short Film, “Pearl” and Neal Higgins, nominated for Best Cinematographer for “O.J. Made in America” are both wearing Elyse Fine Jewelers cufflinks. (Oscar Winner for “Precious” Gabourey Sidibay is also wearing Elyse Fine Jewelers earrings). We might respectfully (and proudly) add that Berberian is the only jeweler from the northeast to be represented at the Academy Awards.

“We’ve had placements on Sharon Osborne, Ben Sherwood (President of Disney), Libby Villari (Oscar for “Boyhood”), Maria Moute (“Welcome to New York”), Daniel Brisbois (“As Good As It Gets” and Oscar nominee for Best Original Song),  Ann Hathaway, Julianne Moore, Kelsey Scott (“12 Years A Slave”), Kate Flannery (The Office),” Berberian said. “I’m incredibly honored when any of my pieces are worn and get recognition for the art that I create. I’m even more honored when one of my pieces is worn by a local client who’s going out to dinner, as that piece often has special meaning for the person wearing it. I create pieces that go from carpools to cocktails to the red carpet.”

If you can’t make it out for this weekend’s celebration, for an Oscar-worthy cocktail you can create right at home, try Boston Beer Company‘s Award Winning Orchard. Combine two ounces of Angry Orchard Crisp Apple with one ounce of St. Germain and two ounces of champagne and serve in a champagne flute garnished with a lemon twist. Speaking of bubbly, we love their cork popping cider Muse that combines the flavors of champagne with sparkling wine for the perfect Oscar-worthy toast.
