Downtown hot spot, Novela, has launched a new menu of bar food in partnership with chef Joey Elenterio of French Fries and Caviar consulting company. The Spanish-inspired bar food is perfect for pairing with the happy hour haven’s craft cocktails. There is broccoli cheddar arancini with smoked bacon and herb aioli, manchego croquettes with quince honey mustard, shrimp tartine with radish and pickles, and a smoked salmon dip with cream cheese and capers. For groups, there are platters of cheese, charcuteries, and hummus—and of course there is a burger with smoked gouda, pickled onions, and pimento spread.
