Downtown hot spot, Novela, has launched a new menu of bar food in partnership with chef Joey Elenterio of French Fries and Caviar consulting company. The Spanish-inspired bar food is perfect for pairing with the happy hour haven’s craft cocktails. There is broccoli cheddar arancini with smoked bacon and herb aioli, manchego croquettes with quince honey mustard, shrimp tartine with radish and pickles, and a smoked salmon dip with cream cheese and capers. For groups, there are platters of cheese, charcuteries, and hummus—and of course there is a burger with smoked gouda, pickled onions, and pimento spread.

There are cookie decorating workshops, book signings, cooking demos, wine tastings with Cuvaison, Dutton-Goldfield, Grgich, Storybrook and RAEN, a pop-up sandwich shop, and a ribbon cutting ceremony where seven champagne bottles will be sabered. If you’re heading to Napa, consider stopping by to enjoy some of the fun.
In other wine country news, Bardessono has launched its own HydraFacial MD service that is designed to rejuvenate and protect the health of skin. The spa at Bardessono is the first resort spa in the valley to carry this luxe skincare treatment. The invigorating treatment deeply cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates the face with serums that are filled with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acids. You’ll leave the facial with glowing and younger looking skin.
