CHELSEA HANDLER HOSTS THE MARCH ON MAIN

More than 8,000 people gathered in Park City, UT during the Sundance Film Festival for the Women’s March on Main St. The peaceful yet powerful march was led by talk-show host, author and comedian Chelsea Handler. Among the mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, daughters and sons, and sisters and brothers marching together, luminaries of the creative community also joined Handler including Charlize Theron, John Legend, Mary McCormack, Kristen Stewart, Connie Britton, Joshua Jackson, Benjamin Bratt, Laura Dern, Aisha Tyler, Laura Prepon, Jennifer Beals, Jurnee Smollett, among others. Following the march, Handler and McCormack addressed the sea of passionate women and men. Handler stated: “This isn’t 1917; it’s 2017. We shouldn’t have to fight for progress we’ve already made, but we’re ready to. It’s our duty to take care of the next generation and to ensure that our children have the same access to the essential services that we did… and this is coming from somebody who doesn’t have children. But, as a responsible citizen, I know that we have a duty to protect everyone else’s children.” McCormack added: “We’ll leave you with a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt… ‘A woman is like a tea bag… you never know how strong it is until you put it in hot water.’”
MARY J. BLIGE CELEBRATES MUDBOUND
Mary J. Blige celebrated both her belated birthday (Blige had hers on January 11th) and the screening of Dee Rees’ Mudbound, a film taking place in WWII Mississippi where she stars alongside Carey Mulligan. After the screening of the film on Saturday night, the cast and crew headed over to Stella Artois Filmmaker Lounge to continue the festivities. The old school hip hop vibe was strong throughout the room, guests crowded the stage to dance the night away. When the DJ put on Mary J’s very own song, she busted a move, Stella chalice in hand, and sang along.

THE INGRID GOES WEST AFTERPARTY

Aubrey Plaza kept the crowd dancing at the after party for the premiere screening of the raved about film Ingrid Goes West at Stella Artois Filmmaker Lounge. In the film, which is entered into the US Dramatic Competition, Plaza plays a lonely woman who becomes obsessed with an Instagram Influencer and moves to Los Angeles to meet her idol. Director Matt Spicer and O’Shea Jackson Jr. celebrated with an impromptu dance on the red carpet before the party was even underway, and by 12 AM only buyers, of which there were several, were permitted in. An unexpected guest of the night was Jon Hamm, who came out to celebrate with his friends in the film. DJ Michelle Pesce played old school music from Madonna, Whitney Houston and Prince and sipped on Stella Artois from the brand’s signature chalices and Stella Artois Cidre. Per Plaza’s instructions the lights were kept dim to create a real party atmosphere as the old school music came on, the star studded crowd went wild and danced until the lights came on.

BMW & Golf Digest Studios hosted the The Getaway premiere party with Kate Upton and Justin Verlander at Rock & Reilly’s. Justin teased Kate on her driving skills and Kate spoke about her first golf lesson ever which was taught by the late Arnold Palmer.

The exclusive event at the Riverhorse on Main followed the series’ “Clips and Conversation” screening and panel where the cast and creative team spoke about the critically acclaimed series, which has struck a chord with viewers with relevant themes about race, class and freedom.

Some of the memorable moments of the night included Zosia, in head-to-toe J. Crew, hitting the dance floor with her new husband Evan Jonigkeit and Jon Hamm chatting it up with Orange is the New Black star Samira Wiley.
THE NYLON X DREAM HOLLYWOOD 4TH ANNUAL APRES SKI PARTY

Celebrities including Harley Quinn Smith, Jaime King, Jay Sean, Marianna Hewitt, Becca Tilley, Major Lazer’s Jillionaire, Gigi Gorgeous and more hit the Nylon x Dream Hollywood 4th annual Aprés Ski party at the Sundance Film Festival. This year’s bash celebrated the highly-anticipated opening of Dream Hotels’ flagship West Coast location, Dream Hollywood, set to debut in March, as well as NYLON’s venture into long form content and programming in 2017 with the debut of NYLON Studios. The coveted soiree was held at Park City hotspot, Church Public House and welcomed tastemakers and VIP’s from the festival throughout the event. Teaming up this year was Gen Art, which re-launched its new Fresh Faces in Film program at the event, showcasing the best of emerging creators and talent.
FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA WINERY HOSTS THE GOLDEN EXITS AFTER PARTY

Guests sipped on Coppola wines (including those inspired by iconic films such as King Kong and Jaws) as co-stars Chloe Sevigny, Analeigh Tipton and Beastie Boys rapper Adam Horovitz celebrated the Sundance Film Festival premiere of their film Golden Exits at an afterparty hosted by Francis Ford Coppola Winery. Director Joe Swanberg and co-star Emily Browning were also spotted at the Chase Sapphire Lounge soiree. Other cast members include Coppola nephewJason Schwartzman and Mary Louise Parker.
TAO PARK CITY PRESENTED BY DON JULIO AFTER PARTIES

TAO Park City was the place to be late night during the first weekend of the Sundance Film Festival. Celebrities including Armie Harmmer, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Joshua Jackson, Mary. J. Blige, Jeremy Renner and Chelsea Handler were treated to a surprise performance by award-winning rapper Common, who hit the stage to perform hits such as “Go” and freestyled to tracks including Kanye West’s “Fade.” Pumping up the crowd, the rapper gave a shout out to the Utah Jazz players in attendance and to the upcoming film “Burning Sands” which he executive produced. Diplo was also on hand one night to make a guest appearance on the turntables.
