Famed hair stylist Joel Warren may be a new resident of Miami, but he is by no means a newcomer to the city. After opening his first ever solo salon and amicably departing from Warren & Tricomi, Warren now resides in Miami as Salótto Beauty’s Creative Director, overseeing the salon and its day-to-day operations during its first year, which is located at the posh 1 Hotel & Homes in Miami Beach. How long have you been in Miami? I grew up visiting Miami, it had always been a second home for me before becoming an official South Beach resident in November

Favorite sushi place: I’m a huge fan of Pubelly Sushi
Favorite Italian: If you’re looking for Italian, La Locanda is the best in the business – their rigatoni alla siciliana is quite something
Favorite date spot: The cozy vibes at Veranda at The Faena Hotel make it the perfect Miami date spot

Best place to have a power meeting: Beachcraft at The 1 Hotel – its outside seating area overlooks the always-bustling Collins Avenue
