The master craftsmen at Van Cleef  & Arpels specially selected the gemstones that range from spring hues of green to summer pinks and autumnal reds. The watch is set with a total of 1,410 round diamonds weighing 15.40 carats. Additional gemstones include 173 yellow and pink sapphires weighing 2 carats, 161 tsavorite garnet weighting 2.50 carats, 106 Spessartite garnets weighing 1.60 carats and 54 Spinels at 0.4 carats for a grand total of more than 21 carats of stones. A mechanical movement with manual winding, caliber 101, powers the scintillating beauty.  The case and bracelet is set with 64 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 8.10 carats, 397 brilliant-cut yellow diamonds totaling 3.22 carats, 186 brilliant-cut orange diamonds totaling 0.83 carats, 315 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.78 carats. In all, the diamond setting of the panther and bracelet totals nearly 1,000 diamonds and weighs nearly 14 carats.  Additionally, the panther’s eyes are set with two emeralds and its nose and spots are crafted in onyx.
