We can all agree that Orange County is a special area, especially in the luxury world. Louis Vuitton agrees: the brand opened its first perfume pop-up shop in the Americas in Costa Mesa at the high-end retail destination South Coast Plaza in celebration of the launch of the Les Parfums Louis Vuitton yesterday.
The shop will be open at the Segerstrom-family owned center from December 15, 2016 to July 1st, 2017. The pop-up is making its way after a global, five-city tour, which began in October and included stops at Printemps Haussmann, and Le Bon Marche Rive Gauche in Paris; Harrods in London; Shinsegae Gangnam in Seoul, and the Dubai Mall.
The iconic Damier pattern will adorn the counters, and showcases a classical yet very modern interpretation of Louis Vuitton’s signatures. Two eye-catching Alzer Pyramids comprised of Louis Vuitton trunks enhanced by feminine florals will highlight both sides of the pop-up entrance.
Fragrances from the seven-piece collection include the airy “Rose des Vents,” the intoxicating “Turbulences”, the ecstasy of a first date night with “Dan la Peau” to the mindful immersion in nature with “Apogee”; from the self-revealing “Contre Moi” to an exploration of a dark side with “Matiere Noire” and the explosion of the senses with “Mille Feux”.
This is the first time in 70 years that the brand has created fragrances; its “Je, tu, il” and “Heures D’Absence” perfumes, created in the late 20s, were staples back in the day. Its fragrance savior faire has been revived for modern times with the work of Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.
Each fragrance in the Les Parfums Louis Vuitton collection comes in a 100-ml and 200-ml size, which retail for $240 and $350, respectively.
