Miami remains a top destination to ring in the New Year, headlining parties from the music industry’s best names at premier clubs like LIV, STORY and Wall to also being home to the most exclusive and sought-after private affairs. This year, we’ve rounded up a list of the best of the best, with something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a night-through-morning legendary celebration, a special dinner feast or a posh private fête, here’s everything you need to know about 2017 in the 305.

This year’s most-talked-about NYE celebration is of course Justin Bieber headlining at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s famous poolside party. Miamians can always expect the iconic hotel to deliver the year’s biggest name in the entertainment biz; last year people went crazy for Kygo and The Weeknd, and this year they’ve decided to one-up themselves by snagging Bieber. The annual NYE party will section off the beachside playground behind the hotel, transforming it into an enormous outdoor club with views of the fireworks on the beach. The area will be decked out with bars, stage-side tables and exclusive cabanas that double as VIP tables, and dangle a hefty price tag starting at $40,000. General-admission tickets for this event start at $500. Also at the Fontainebleau, Grammy Award-winning producer and famed DJ Skrillex will headline at LIV for a crazy all-night set. LIV has VIP offerings with private skyboxes and VIP table packages, ranging from $8,000 for a mezzanine balcony VIP table for eight to $50,000 for a spacious buyout of half the dance floor VIP area for 20 people, Nicki Minaj will be entertaining guests at E11even, and even more options in between. If EDM is what you’re looking for, STORY is also sure to be a top pick with breakthrough artist Marshmello headlining the evening.

Another hot destination for NYE is The W Hotel’s WET Pool, which has confirmed world-famous German DJ Robin Schulz to headline the affair. Past performers at this high-profile NYE party include Drake, Afrojack, Alesso and Klingande, always delivering a truly unforgettable experience. A bit more intimate but equally as in-demand as the Fontainebleau parties, The W Hotel is sure to sell out early with tickets starting at $200 for general admission and VIP and cabana offerings available.

If you’re looking to celebrate 2016 a bit longer, Five Star New Year’s Eve is back for its fourth year in a row, bringing a week-long lineup of VIP parties to pop-up venues on Miami Beach’s Watson Island, leading up to New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The events include access to the Sunset Party, Luxury Yacht Cruise, Surreal Party, Day Time Beach Party, Miami Beach VIP Club Experience and Five Star New Year’s Eve, which leads into the Post New Year’s Eve Brunch.

For special NYE dinner parties, there is a handful of some of Miami’s favorites that are offering a special menu and dinner experience for guests that want something more low-key than a club or party. If you’re seeking somewhere with a bit of a scene, we recommend The Dutch at The W South Beach where they will be offering a special three-course dinner menu including luxe selections like stone crab with caviar and homemade pasta with lobster for the evening, along with a champagne toast. Even better, book your table during the second seating and you can catch views of the WET poolside performance without having to be in the middle of the crowd. Another great option is downtown Miami favorite Zuma, where they have created a special “Edo Era” celebration to commemorate the golden age of Japan. The special NYE tasting menu will offer signature Zuma dishes from around the globe using decadent and seasonal ingredients like freshly shaved white truffle, otoro and robata grilled wagyu and more. Nearby, Cantina La Veinte is hosting a dinner blowout fiesta with a prix-fixe menu, bottle service, live mariachi bands and more. Guests can watch the ball drop at midnight on the restaurant’s gigantic drop TV screen. Or you can enjoy dinner with a view of the magical city at Juvia, which is offering a delicious four-course menu for the occasion.

To enjoy dinner and a show, be sure to check out The Forge, Faena’s “Night in Havana” or El Tucán for a special evening of culinary excellence and live entertainment. All three popular Miami venues will have a prix-fixe dinner menu along with a specially paired show to ring in the New Year, each offering their own unique signature flair to the occasion and bringing in a beautiful crowd of guests.

And last but certainly not least, we can’t forget the ultra-exclusive private parties hosted at a slew of mega mansions from Star Island to Indian Creek and beyond that will bring in boldface names, ranging from local socialites to celebrities from beyond flying in for the grand celebration. Only those in the know enough will receive the prestigious invite to one of these affairs.

Whichever you choose, one thing can be assured for this year’s NYE: Miami is the place to be.
