Sean Gunn has one of those familiar faces that you know and love. He rose to fame playing beloved oddball Kirk Gleason in Gilmore Girls, one of the series’ most beloved townspeople, before appearing in shows like Superstore, Bones, Bunheads, Glee, October Road and Angel. In 2017, you’ll see Gunn in The Belko Experiment, an action thriller which premiered during midnight madness at the 2016 Toronto Film Festival and was quickly picked up by Blumhouse’s BH Tilt for release, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in which he plays two roles—the villain Kraglin and the on-set version of Rocket the Raccoon (the CGI character voiced by Bradley Cooper) in the smash hit’s sequel, as he and his fellow ravagers are on a mission to recapture Peter Quill (Chris Pratt). Next up, however, Gunn will reprise the role of Kirk for Netflix’ revival of Gilmore Girls, which premieres as November 25th as four, 90 minute episodes. Here, this Los Angeles resident shares his favorite L.A. spots (as Sean) and his favorite spots in Stars Hollow, CT., as Kirk.
