On October 21 and 22, 2016, Klyde Warren Park will host its signature fundraiser Park & Palate, one of the hottest culinary events in Dallas. An authentic celebration of Texas’ rich food culture, it will highlight more than 30 of the region’s most popular chefs as well as wineries, breweries and spirits from around the world.
This year’s Park and Palate, chaired by Carolyn and Rob Walters, along with Lyn and John Muse is title sponsored by Republic National Distributing Corporation and Central Market as well as additional support from sponsors J.P. Morgan Chase, CBRE, Lucchese, Ben E. Keith, and Boardwalk Auto Group. All of the proceeds from the exclusive two-day event will go towards providing funds for Klyde Warren Park.
“More than one million guests enjoy the park each year,” said Park & Palate co-chair Rob Walters. “Thanks in large part to support from the business, philanthropic, and culinary communities, Klyde Warren Park serves as Dallas’ central gathering place where everyone is welcome.”
While Friday evening’s Down to the Roots fundraiser is a sell-out, tickets are still available for the Grand Taste on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Set against the distinctive backdrop of the city skyline, the tasting event invites guests to enjoy an evening featuring cutting-edge cuisine from Dallas’ restaurant scene along with other impressive tastemakers throughout the region. Complete with an exclusive VIP area, the night will also feature an evening concert with music from the Barbed Wires and DJ Lucy.
This exceptional event provides a truly unique way to give back to one of the most beloved spaces in the city, while also enjoying a taste of what Dallas has to offer!
