Ed Lynch knows what it takes to grow a sports business beyond broadcast and into events. As the vice president of business development, sports at VER, one of the biggest production equipment rental companies in the world, he is focused on providing concerts, tours and festivals with lighting, video and audio. VER has provided camera systems for television shows like Top Chef and Survivor as well as the 2015 US Open and Women’s World Cup.
Before coming to VER, Lynch worked at the MLBPA, MLS, Sports Illustrated and launched his own agency called All Access Sports in the golf arena. Since then, he went on to manage Sentient Jet’s sports marketing and sponsorships before working with Marquis Jet/NetJets. He then joined the Sports Media Group at USA Today as the senior director of business development sports marketing and manages the sales for the League partnerships as well as the sports agencies.
Today, he serves on the Board of Golf Fights Cancer, is the founder of the Jack Lynch Fund and Boston Board member of the National Sports Marketing Network. He is also an Ambassador for the Family Reach organization while supporting many other charitable causes.
