New Yorkers for Children is a great cause that always attracts a cross-section of A-list New Yorkers. This year’s Annual Fall Gala on September 15th was a very special one, as it celebrated the group’s 20th anniversary to benefit youth in foster care in New York City. The celebration raised more than $1.3 million and was presented by Chloé. A flock of New York City’s top influencers, models and the fashion industry’s most respected veterans came to Cipriani 42nd Street to support the charity. With a focus on young people in foster care, NYFC supports programs that promote programs to ensure stable adulthood through education and sustainable relationships with caring adults. NYFC works with over 1,000 youth in foster care annually through signature programming including the Back-to-School Package Program, the Guardian Scholars Program, the Youth Advisory Board, and the Futures in Motion: Youth CAN!
