When the Bough Breaks Star Jaz Sinclair’s Haute Secrets to LA

Jaz Sinclair Adeline

You may have caught Jaz Sinclair in the big screen adaptation of John Green‘s Paper Towns alongside Cara Delevingne, and you’re about to see her again come Sept. 9. Sinclair is starring in Screen Gemspsychological thriller When The Bough Breaks.  In the film, Sinclair plays Anna, who is hired to be a surrogate for John and Laura Taylor (Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall), a young, professional couple who desperately want a baby. As Anna gets further along in her pregnancy, so does her psychotic and dangerous fixation on John. The couple becomes caught up in Anna’s deadly game and must fight to regain control of their future before it’s too late. In reality, the sweet Sinclair couldn’t be further from her on-screen character.  Born and raised in Texas, she discovered her passion for acting in high school theatre, and during her senior year, was a Presidential Scholar in the Arts semifinalist and a National YoungArts Finalist, giving her the opportunity to travel to Miami for a week of training with distinguished master teachers and mentors. After graduation, she saved up what she could waiting tables and moved to Los Angeles with only her 2007 Chevy Cobalt named Lucy and everything she owned inside. Subsequently, her silver screen success began with Paper Towns and continues to grow. Here, this refreshing, talented ingenue—she writes fiction and music and sings as well— shares her haute secrets to the city she now calls home…Los Angeles.
