Where were you born: Miami Beach, FL.

How long in Miami/ South Florida: All my life, except for a brief 18-year vacation in Chicago

Neighborhood: Fisher Park

Occupation: Brand Creator

Favorite Restaurant: Versailles

Best Italian: My wife’s

Best dessert: Mint chip ice cream from the Frieze

Best place for a romantic date: Any beach at dusk.

Best place for a power business meeting: Any restaurant that serves alcohol. The best power business meetings are those where everyone’s guard is down and you talk as real people. I find that alcohol is the quickest (legal) way to get there.

If you have out of town guests, which hotel would you recommend? Setai Hotel on Miami Beach.

Favorite shopping venue/boutique: There aren’t a lot of menswear shops that I love down here for guys my age (40’s). Which is why I’ve been looking into opening one of my own…

Best Spa: Waldorf Astoria’s spa. It’s a “holy sh*t” type of spa.

Favorite Cultural Event: Art Basel. Most of the art in my home has come from the satellite shows.

Favorite Cultural Institution: Broward Au-Rene Theatre. A first-class venue for those who don’t live in Miami.

Best Steakhouse: Prime 112

Best Lunch: Vinny’s in Boca

Best Gym/Athletic Facility: Put me on a red clay tennis court and I’m in heaven.

Best Massage: The kind where I don’t have to make small talk the entire time. I suck at small talk.

Best Limousine/Driving Service: Uber. Seriously, how did we ever survive without Uber?

Describe your city in three words: Completely totally underrated

Favorite historic/legendary place to see or explore: Biscayne Bay. I love it as much today as I did growing up.

All-around favorite spot in Miami: I’m a Miami Beach loyalist. Give me a stroll down Lincoln Road any day.

Best Aspect of Miami: The diversity. It may sound cliché but life is much more interesting when you meet people from so many different backgrounds.
