For Ali Landry, entering show business was a result of chance and circumstance rather than the obvious bottom line. After all, it’s not often that a former Miss Louisiana and Miss USA enters the pageant world to garner career connections rather than the usual crowning glory. With her infectious charm and laid-back joie de vive, Landry—a small-town girl from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana—became a household name first as the Doritos spokeswoman and 1998 Super Bowl heartthrob, and later with her recurring roles in “Felicity,” “Two Guys and a Girl,” “Sunset Beach,” and “Popular.” Accustomed to juggling many hats, she also hosted the music-talk show “Farm Club.com,” NBC’s “Spy TV,” “Full Frontal Fashion” on WE, which led to her first Times Square billboard, “Fashion Wraps” on TV Guide Network and numerous other shows.
