The Red Sox are in first place and so are the Patriots. As if that weren’t reason enough to celebrate, our favorite teams will be playing all weekend long. To get your game day celebration on, we have rounded up five of the hautest dishes that will have you cheering for more.

1 Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse

Best known for their juicy steaks, handmade pastas and veal chops, when it is game day, we head up to the bar here for a taste of their signature spring rolls (think Philly cheese steak, chicken parm, buffalo chicken, shrimp cojita and Reuben). The bar menu includes everything from not-so-traditional deviled eggs (made with blue cheese and bacon), pancetta popcorn, truffle fries with gorgonzola sauce and toasted spicy mixed nuts to warm spinach and gruyere dip, Kobe beef sliders and lobster gougères and chilled jumbo shrimp cocktail. Game day never tasted so good.

2 Grill 23

Grill 23 is renowned as being one of the best steakhouses in town, so it was no surprise when they expanded their bar to include some standout dishes. We recommend the tuna poke with bourbon barrel aged fish sauce and Sichuan spiced peanuts; "silver served" beef burger with truffled cheddar, black garlic, arugula and oven cured tomato or the "very marbled, very tender" flatiron steak served with a side of crispy golden fries.

3 Tamo Bistro & Bar

Salt and pepper calamari; prosciutto meatballs smothered in mozzarella and marinara; candied bacon sweetened with brown sugar and spiced up with chipotle powder, cayenne pepper and a five-spice rub, and smoky Buffalo chicken wings taste even better at Tamo when paired with a craft cocktail. Best of all, most snacks don't require utensils, an ideal situation when you have your hands full high fiving after another Big Papi homer or a Patriots touchdown.

4 Eastern Standard

You won't find a busier hotel bar in Kenmore Square than Eastern Standard. One of the hautest spots for a pre-game Red Sox game, it's also the place to belly up to when the Patriots are playing on Sunday. Try the roasted bone marrow with "gentleman's relish," foie gras terrine, roasted oysters with barrel-aged hot sauce or sampling of the day's charcuterie selection.

5 Avery Bar

Head over to this sleek hotel lobby bar tucked inside the Ritz-Carlton and order up a classic martini that comes in 10 different forms thanks to the Avery 10 (think dry, dirty, smoky or fiery). Pair it up with some tasty bar bites like the mini lobster tacos with mango sweet chili; Wagyu beef sliders with aged cheddar and onion jam served on a brioche bun or the smoked bluefish and salmon served on grilled sourdough. Save some room for a sweet taste of lemon berry shortbread tart topped with lemon cream and local berries.
