Swiss-born entrepreneur Orianne Collins is about to make her mark on the Miami Design District with two upcoming stores: OC Concepts and Orianne Collins Jewellery.
Collins’ career in jewelry design began in Switzerland while collaborating with Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier, designing children’s collections to benefit Little Dreams Foundation. Established in 2000 by Orianne and Phil Collins, Little Dreams Foundation sets out to fulfill the dreams of young and aspiring talent who don’t have the financial means to achieve their goals in art, music and sports. The idea to create jewelry in support of this cause was conceived from designing pieces for her own children, who were born only shortly after the foundation was established.
Over the years, OC’s designs transformed and evolved into the brand it is today and are now donned by children, men and women alike. “I design to inspire every type of woman,” says OC, which is a goal she certainly achieves based on her vast array of collections; from Heritage, to Romance, to Slave, to Vintage, there is a piece perfectly suited for every woman. Orianne Collins Jewelery in Palm Court is set to open in the beginning months of 2017 and will be exclusively featuring Orianne Collins Jewelery. The line is also sold in South Florida retailers, select Neiman Marcus stores and in Europe
OC Concepts, opening mid-September, will be the fourth concept store for OC. Previous locations included New York, Saint Tropez and Courchevel. “I want it to be a store where you enter my world and have a full experience,” Collins explains, elevating our perception of jewelry shopping. At her New York location on Madison Avenue, patrons weren’t limited to browsing the OC collection—there, you could go so far as purchasing yachts and chalets, or simply enjoying the almost club-like atmosphere while sipping on limited edition OC champagne or an espresso.
At the Miami concept store, we will be exposed to a totally different experience while still being pampered in luxury and opulence. OC is teaming up with Miami’s top hair stylists and make-up artists for shoppers, curating the process of getting ready for a red carpet, event or date night. The concept store will also be hosting a new guest closet every month, where celebrity closets will be available to browse and purchase. The first one on the list? Orianne’s, of course. Following that we will be seeing Romero Britto’s, among many other celebrities and artists.
Orianne Collins Jewelery can also be found across a handful of South Florida retailers, select Neiman Marcus stores and in Europe.
