From a very young age, Jordana Woodland fell in love with the ‘art of dressing’ and the idea of every woman having her own boudoir. Inspired by this love, Woodland launched one of Los Angeles’ most beloved lines in 2009: the modern boudoir lifestyle brand, Naked Princess. According to Woodland, “Naked Princess isn’t just a brand, it’s a way of being.” Her celebrity fans seem to wholeheartedly agree. Stylish celebs such as Cindy Crawford, Lady Gaga and Mindy Kaling can often be found at Naked Princess’ LM Pagano-designed flagship—which opened its doors in the Melrose Place District in 2014—shopping for curated items such as custom-formulated beauty products, elegant loungewear, lingerie and home accessories. It was Woodland’s goal to make sure that the Naked Princess experience was (and is) all-inclusive, completely dynamic and quintessentially feminine for all women looking for something special. In our opinion, she’s more than succeeded. Here, Woodland, who wears a plethora of hats as the company’s founder, Creative Director and model—all while raising three young children, mind you—offers Haute Living a look inside her boudoir-inspired office and shares a sneak peek, an inside glimpse, at where she comes up with her multi-million dollar ideas.
