He has hosted some of the biggest names in Hollywood, politics and beyond at his private mansion south of Boston (think Donald Trump, The Go Gos, and LeAnn Rimes to name a few), but Ernie Boch, Jr. is best known around town for his television ads telling buyers to “come on down” and check out his inventory of vehicles. Son of the late auto magnate, Ernie Boch Sr., he now devotes much of his spare time to Music Drive Us, a nonprofit that supports music in education and preservation throughout New England.

Where were you born: Providence, RI
How long in Boston: Almost my whole life.
Neighborhood: I live south of the city.
