Michael Chow wants to give you the moon. If you don’t believe us, you need only check out the awe-inspiring, one-of-a-kind, 3,000-pound kinetic art piece called “The Moon” at his seventh global Mr. Chow eatery, located in Caesars Palace. As commissioned by TAIT Towers, the company behind Omnia’s incredible chandelier, Cirque du Soleil sets, the Sochi Olympic ceremonies and big-name world tours from the likes of Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney and Adele, the 26-foot diameter sculpture descends every 30 minutes and turns ultraviolet, transforming the restaurant from an all-white experience to a purple paradise.

This is dinner theater in its best and most luxurious form, a staple of artist and global restaurateur Chow. From the moment you’re whisked up to the 250-seat restaurant by private elevator (passing a pink Jeff Koons balloon dog along the way) and offered a unique
champagne arrival involving the best of bubblies from Dom Pérignon and Perrier-Jouët, you know you’re in for a rare treat. Other eccentric and dramatic touches you will enjoy, along with upscale Chinese dishes like green prawns, chicken satay, turnip puffs and Beijing duck, include a noodle-making demonstration and one of the truly most breathtaking views you’ll see in Sin City: the restaurant overlooks, quite appropriately, the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis. All in all, your experience is certain to be out of this world.
