Cereal is making a comeback in New York City. Your favorite breakfast meal is getting an upgrade in the city’s first luxury cereal-only café by Kelloggs. The Anthony Rudolf-designed restaurant is bound to create a cereal craze popping up on all of your social feeds this summer.

As the busy New Yorker has ditched ‘time-consuming’ cereal for more practical choices like the breakfast bar, Kelloggs has been repositioning themselves to regain your attention. Having the time to enjoy breakfast has become a luxury, thus cereal becomes a luxury as well. With Kelloggs, consuming cereal is now a luxury dining experience.

The menu was developed by Christina Tosi, who you probably know from the incredible eats of the Milk Bar bakeries in New York, Washington D.C., and Toronto. You’ll find all of your Kelloggs favorites like Rice Krispies, Corn Pops, Frosted Flakes and Raisin Bran. One of your favorites will be The Corny Blues mixes Kellogg’s Corn Pops with blueberry jam, lemon zest, and just a pinch of salt, while The Chai Line uses fresh peaches and Chai tea powder on top of Crispix.

According to The Wall Street Journal “Customers will pick up orders via a set of ‘kitchen cabinets,’ a kind of un-automated automat. Inside the door will be their food and a little surprise, like those found in a box of cereal. Most days, it will be a small treat-a plastic ring or a morning newspaper. But there are also plans in the works to give away several tickets to the Broadway smash Hamilton.”
