Round Hill Estate, the newly constructed resort compound home of Pamela and Ted Deikel was the magical setting for the Festival Napa Valley’s Patron Dinner, which took place on the fifth day of the ten day event. Under a full moon and perfect weather, 100 guests enjoyed an evening of fine wines from three leading ladies of Napa Valley, Naoko Dalla Valle, Robin Lail, and Delia Viader. Chef Tony Spleen of Dry Creek Farm served up a delicious dinner with Caprese salad, roasted Five-Dot Ranch beef tenderloin and a trio of seasonal sweets for desserts.

The highlight of the evening was the surprise entertainment by Franc D’Ambrosio. The singer is best know for his performance of the Phantom of the Opera in San Francisco, where he has acted in over 3,000 shows. He also starred as the opera-singing son of Al Pacino and Diane Keaton in The Godfather III and he sang the Academy Award-winning theme song, Speak Softly Love, on the original motion picture soundtrack. Franc performed several classics from Phantom of the Opera as well as his tune from The Godfather III for the guests of the evening.
