The Fontainebleau has been building a stellar reputation as the live music hotel, with it’s Bleau Live concert series and numerous concerts and live DJ appearances at in-house club LIV. Now they’ve got something new for summer. Taking place August 13, the hotel will throw Mack-A-Pooloza, a daytime poolside blowout with world renown DJs Afrojack, Alesso and the I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead star, Steve Aoki. The event will transform the iconic resort’s Ocean Lawn BleauLive stage into a live DJ show with an emphasis on keeping cool in the pool. The stars, who might usually mix at LIV, will get a taste of the open air, and the fabulous pool deck which makes the hotel such a scene.
The setting will be much more intimate than the hyper festivals like Tomorrowland, which Aoki will be performing at over the summer. The BleauLive performance series follows Fontainebleau’s long time history as an entertainment hub by hosting all genres of recording artists. BleauLive is a different kind of concert experience because it moves beyond the traditional by crafting a fully immersive experience where fans are invited to kick off the concert with the Cocktail and Show Package or stay the weekend with the VIP Weekend Package.
