The Fourth of July holiday weekend is now upon us so there is no better reason to get out on the town to celebrate. Here is a look at five of the best ways to revel in some patriotic spirit.

1 Grettacole Spa Boston

Show off some patriotic spirit with a fresh clean pedicure. At this Copley Place location tucked inside the Westin Hotel, the experienced therapists here will get you set up in a massaging chair where you will soak your feet for a few relaxing minutes. After a leg massage, they will get to work trimming cuticles, buffing nails and wrapping your feet with a hot paraffin treatment. When you leave, your feet will feel rejuvenated; your heels will be smooth as butter; and your toes will be baby soft. For the ultimate relaxation, book a massage and blowout here to get you looking and feeling your best for the holiday weekend.

2 Ocean Prime

Ocean Prime
Nothing spells a holiday weekend celebration better than an indulgent night out on the town and Ocean Prime delivers just that with its enormous cuts of beef and fresh seafood selections. Request a seat on the outdoor patio or head into the gorgeous dining room and get started with a sampling of fresh East Coast oysters from Maine or delicate Hamachi crudo in a delicious sesame ginger vinaigrette that pairs up even better with a Rum Punch cocktail or gin martini. For main events, we recommend the Chilean sea bass that sits prominently atop whipped potatoes topped with a decadent champagne truffle sauce or the flavor filled bone-in filet. Steaks here are served a la carte, so be sure to order up a side of roasted Brussels sprouts and chophouse corn. Save some room for the 10-layer carrot cake that is well worth every overindulgent calorie.

3 The Colonnade Hotel

The Colonnade Hotel
There is nothing quite like a staycation this holiday weekend and The Colonnade Hotel in Back Bay offers plenty of reasons to stay in Boston this celebratory weekend. Located on the 12th floor of the hotel, the RTP (as it is known to locals) is one of the hautest places to be. Sip on a craft cocktail, enjoy a light bite by the pool, reserve a cabana for some respite from the sun or sign up for a morning yoga class here taught by Rebecca Pacheco during the week. After the holiday, the hotel will be launching a roofTOP Chefs pop-up series that features local chefs creating poolside menus each week. Participating chefs include Chris Coombs, Andy Husbands, Tiffani Faison and Jose Duarte. Tom Brady’s former personal chef, Allen Campbell, will kick off the program starting on July 5.

4 Fenway Park

Fenway Park
Is there really anything more American than going to a baseball game over the July 4th weekend? The Los Angeles Angels and Texas Rangers will be in town to compete against the Red Sox at Fenway Park and we will be on the Green Monster to cheer on our home team at “America’s most beloved ballpark.” Whether you opt for luxury seats in the EMC Club or State Street Pavilion complete with a full buffet, including carving station and raw bar, the weather for the weekend looks perfect and we couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate the holiday. For the best seats in the house, reserve the dugout seats within the first three rows that also include access to the exclusive Wheels Up Clubhouse.

5 Liberty Fleet of Tall Ships

Liberty Fleet
If you are looking to make this 4th of July holiday truly memorable, book a cruise aboard Liberty Fleet’s Tall Ships for an evening sail. A 2.5-hour sail aboard the Liberty Clipper or Liberty Star gets started at 9 p.m. on July 4. The festive cruise complete with cash bar includes a BBQ dinner aboard a tall ship where you can listen to the Boston Pops simulcast live. The ships are too large to enter the Charles River where the fireworks are launched, but the tall ships will get as close as possible for an unforgettable view.
