Summer festival season is upon us in NYC. With so many options to choose from, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite Haute VIP food, wine, whiskey and craft beer events you won’t want to miss.

1 Whiskey Fried Classic, at Brooklyn Expo Center on Saturday, July 9th

This mid-summer extravaganza will pair dozens of whiskies and handcrafted cocktails with Southern-inspired dishes from 20+ NYC restaurants. Festival-goers can choose from two all-inclusive sessions: afternoon (1:30pm-4pm) or evening (6:30pm-9pm). VIP ticket holders will enjoy a half hour early entrance; access to the specialty Prohibition lounge; samples of rare, top shelf spirits; and a digital event bag. General Admission tickets are $85 and VIP tickets are selling at $125, but prices will increase over the next few weeks. All tickets include a souvenir tasting glass.

2 Uncorked: NY Wine Fest at the Metropolitan Pavilion on July 16th

Wine down at the inaugural Uncorked: NY Wine Fest which will take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion on Saturday, July 16th. The festival will feature over 50 wineries with more than 100 wines to sample, a dedicated Champagne bar, international wine market, an artisan food bazaar with both sweet and savory delights to pair perfectly with wine, a video DJ, custom photo booth and blind tasting bar. VIP admission is at 2pm, providing ticket holders with an extra hour of tastings, shorter lines and exclusive wines that will be poured only during that hour. General admission for the afternoon session will take place from 3pm - 6pm. Cocktail attire is requested but not required. The event is 21 and over only.

3 Tapped: The Ultimate Craft Beer Festival at the Barclays Center on July 23rd

Stop by the Barclays Center on Saturday, July 23. With two sessions at 12:30PM & 5:00PM, Tapped: The Ultimate Craft Beer Festival will feature more than 100 beers, wines, cider tastings and great food offerings throughout the arena. VIP tickets are available and include early entrance 30 minutes prior to general admission, access to the Calvin Klein Courtside Club and exclusive craft beer tastings.

4 Wine and Jazz on the River Starting July 7th at Pier 81's North River Landing

New York Wine Events announces a star-filled line up for Wine & Jazz On The River, a new entertainment cruise series just in time for summer 2016. The series, part of the new Circle Live Summer Concert series at Pier 81's North River Landing, will take place on the luxurious World Yacht Duchess and includes 4 nights on the Hudson featuring 4 contemporary jazz artists, award winning wines direct from the wineries in a splendid setting. Shows are Thursday evenings: July 7, July 21, August 25 and September 22 with Boarding at 6:00 PM and Cruise Departure at 7:00 PM. The Duchess sails from North River Landing, Pier 81 41st St. & West Side Highway. The events will carry guests down the Hudson River as they enjoy world-class jazz artists performing live, while savoring exhilarating views of the NYC skyline, Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge.

5 Bronx Food and Wine Festival at the Bronx Zoo on August 12th

Eat and drink to your heart’s content, all for a good cause. The best restaurants, chefs, distilleries, breweries and wineries come together to raise money and awareness and combat hunger at the Bronx Zoo, donating to the Food Bank of New York City for every $1.5 meals will be given to those who need it most. This September The Bronx Food and Wine Festival is hoping to reach their goal again and help the food bank feed another 25,000 hungry New Yorkers.
