Treat your mom to the utmost of elegant afternoon teas at the Langham Huntington, Pasadena. Our favorite is the Pink Chocolate Afternoon Tea: a variety of the finest teas served with a selection of savory tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, fruits, tarts, mousse torts and creme brulees—all of which contain different chocolate essences. A grand pink chocolate fountain is the focal point of the tea, with surrounding chocolate sculptural art. If your mom has a sweet tooth, it's the absolute best.

4 Bottomless champagne brunch at high-end hotels like the Ritz-Carlton Marina del ReyRitz-Carlton
Many of L.A.'s finest hotels are offering bottomless champagne brunches, and we couldn't ask for anything better than unlimited bubbly and great food in a beautiful setting. A few of our favorite options are Cast & Plow at the Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey. Culinary options include crispy rock shrimp with local radish and meyer lemon aioli, a beef pot roast with slow braised short rib, caramelized root vegetables and mustard jus, organic salmon with chive potato purée, and a made-to-order Belgium waffle station with a selection of childhood favorite toppings. The Belvedere at The Peninsula is another option thanks to unlimited Nicolas Feuillatte, while Terranea in Palos Verdes is offering it's Mother's Day Champagne Ballroom Brunch with pastries, an omelet station and dim sum, along with a children’s buffet and dessert bar. Last but not least is Culina at The Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, where you'll find vanilla waffles, a dim sum station, sushi station, plenty of desserts and a children's buffet.
