This riverside restaurant has not one, but two outdoor dining spaces. The Terrace section offers a casual setting for expansive views of the East River and New York skyline. Think backyard BBQ vibes except with Tom Colicchio quality food. The incredible chef works in collaboration with former Gramercy Tavern star turned Riverpark Executive Chef, Bryant Hunt. The menu consists of the freshest ingredients from the restaurant’s very own Riverpark Farm. If picnic style seating on The Terrace isn’t quite what you were looking for, go more traditional at The Patio. This natural extension of the restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy gourmet plates with a backdrop you won’t forget.

If you can’t make it to the Italian coast this summer, not to worry, you can have a little taste of it right in New York City. Santina is situated on what used to be the coast of Manhattan where the city’s first farmers markets once stood. Santina draws from the neighborhood’s history with fresh produce. While you enjoy their dishes like Giardinia crudité and spaghetti blue crab you will be enveloped in the Renzo Piano designed outdoor patio. The eccentric décor lends to an ambiance similar to that found on haute Italian coasts of Capri or Amalfi. You can have it all right on your very own island of Manhattan.
