Pininfarina and Magic Development Celebrate $3 Million Partnership

Magic Development CEOs Rodrigo Cunha and Luis Claudio Sinelli, the Brazilian developers reimagining Central Florida’s residential landscape unveiled their plans for Magic Place along with Paolo Pininfarina. Magic Place is a new $3 billion collaboration in Central Florida.

Pininfarina— the Italian design firm famous for designing Ferraris, legendary for some of the most iconic designs in automotive history—will be applying their design ethos to architecture.

The massive mixed-use development will be the largest Pininfarina-designed residential project in the world and serves as the first step in Orlando’s transformation into one of the nation’s great global cities. The project includes five towers that will be mixed-use and include over 1,850 luxury condo resort residences and more than 250,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. The new development is on the east side of Disney’s town of Celebration.

While Miamians may not be familiar, Magic Development is a group of real estate entrepreneurs that have been making waves for over 10 years in Central Florida. Their first large-scale development was Magic Village, a resort ownership development with 180 luxury townhome units; all of which were sold pre-construction in twelve months. Magic Village 2 is showing promise with 83 of 194 units sold to date.

Pininfarina has been getting deeper into the residential design game of late. Recently launching the 1100 Millecento in Brickell, Miami, the Ferra in Singapore which won the “Object of Desire Award” in 2013 and Cyrela by Pininfarina in São Paulo with apartments starting at R$1.2 million.
