Former heavyweight boxing champion and longtime Las Vegas resident, Mike Tyson, has reinvented himself over the last fifteen years. Tyson has gone from punch line to the one dolling out the jokes. His critically acclaimed one-man stage show, “Undisputed Truth” is making its highly anticipated return to Sin City this spring and summer with a packed schedule of shows at the Brad Garrett Comedy Club inside the MGM Grand.

While you think you may know the story of Iron Mike, when you see his most notorious life moments reenacted by Tyson himself in such a humbling and humorous way, you will look at him in a completely different light. The “Undisputed Truth” originally premiered in 2012 for one week at the MGM Grand’s Hollywood Theater, but now it has returned for a much longer engagement. The show is slated to have set performances from March through the end of June. This lively stage show is the perfect fit for Las Vegas, as it plays more like a stand-up comedy set than traditional biography, with Tyson now embracing that role. He’s a born entertainer and when you watch his animated stage presence, which is something wider audiences got a taste of after his hilarious cameo in the first The Hangover installment, this one-man show is a natural fit for the self-proclaimed “baddest man on the planet.” Tyson has said that the show is therapeutic for him and he’s definitely not afraid to poke fun at himself, even though the pain of his life story is very real stuff. For his second Sin City stint, Tyson will be entertaining 250 people each night inside the Brad Garrett Comedy Club, which makes for a very intimate show as Tyson is able to lock eyes with his audience as he relays his tales.

The show has proven to be such a runaway hit that Tyson has since parlayed his career renaissance into film, with a starring role in massive martial arts movie in China opposite International action star, Donnie Yen. It’s something that seemed unfathomable in the 1990’s, but Tyson is living proof that redemption is possible with a little humility. By the time you walk out of “Undisputed Truth” you will have a different perception of Iron Mike and also enjoyed a lot of laughs with him in the process.

For a premiere Las Vegas stage show that provides you with a tale of victory, tragedy and ultimately redemption, don’t miss seeing Mike Tyson’s “Undisputed Truth.”
