On Tuesday night, Haute Time and luxury watch brand Roger Dubuis hosted an exclusive private dinner celebrating the magazine’s cover star, Donny Deutsch. The intimate dinner, which took place at the home of Sheila Rosenblum, CEO of Lady Sheila Stable, boasted 180-degree views of the New York City skyline.

As pre-dinner remarks commenced, Deutsch spoke of being a longtime timepiece collector of Rolex, Omega and Roger Dubuis. Following toasts, guests were escorted to the dining room, which featured two tables of fresh calla lilies and Roger Dubuis watches. Event-goers were served a four-course meal by private chef Yann Nury. Guests enjoyed flowing bubbly and lively conversation while marveling at the eye-sparkling Roger Dubuis centerpieces.

A number of notable guests were in attendance, including Donny Deutsch, Haute Time co-founder Seth Semilof, Paul and Janet Schindler, Edward Mermelstein, Paolo Zampolli, Bob and Lauren Day Roberts, Jonathan Wald, Larry Wohl, Roger Dubuis US President of Roger Dubuis Jorge Puentes, among others.  Even Jean-Marc Pontroue, Global CEO of Roger Dubuis, flew in from Geneva for the special evening.

The main highlight of the night was when Rosenblum and Ahmad Zayat announced their haute new partnership: a new shared ownership of a young champion racer for Lady Sheila Stable and Zayat Stable. For those of you unfamiliar with Zayat, he is the owner of Zayat Stables’, American Pharaoh, the 2015 Triple Crown winner. Rosenblum’s Lady Sheila Stable is home to the award-winning mare La Verdad, 2015’s other breakout horse racing star.

Prior to guests’ departures, invitees were given a special Roger Dubuis gift bag, which included custom candles, notebooks, leather wallets, chocolate and Haute Time magazines. The intimate affair was then capped off with a special toast from Louis XIII in beautiful, branded crystal flutes.
