If you are still trying to finalize this weekend’s Easter plans, there is still time to book a table at one of the hautest spots in town. Whether you are planning an intimate dinner for you and your significant other or are hosting a family full of relatives from out of town, here’s a look at some of the best places to celebrate Easter in Boston.

1 Scampo at the Liberty Hotel

On Sunday, Scampo will celebrate Easter with a brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. Chef/owner, Lydia Shire, has created a specialty menu for the day (regular menu also available). To start, try the She-Crab Soup with Irish butter, tiny new potato gnocchetti and maple croutons and Burrata with endive and red sorrel with grated maple and roast ‘double smoked’ bacon vinaigrette. Main events feature sautéed halibut with ‘oyster leaves,’ leek and parsley sformato and littlenecks opened in sorrel butter and roasted veal ribeye with Maine lobster tail, risi e bisi and sherried morels. Finish it all off with a sampling of traditional Easter Pavlova with crisp meringue, lemon cream and oven-roasted strawberries, served with strawberry and lime sorbets.

2 Brasserie JO

Over at the Colonnade Hotel, kids can meet the Easter bunny (from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and hunt for Easter eggs (at 12 and 1:30 p.m.) before heading into Brasserie JO for a celebratory brunch. Here, you can start the day off right by sipping on a mimosa or bloody Mary while listening to a live Jazz Trio. Brunch stations will feature everything from white chocolate scones to mixed green salads with goat cheese and port wine vinaigrette. Breakfast starters include eggs Benedict, an omelet station, French toast and cheese blintz with bananas foster sauce. If you prefer to get started with lunch, head to the carving station for a taste of lamb ragu or salmon en croute. The grand finale comes with the dessert offerings, including a cupcake station, assorted petite pies and mini creme brulee.

3 Boston Harbor Hotel

One of the biggest and best Easter celebrations is being held at the Boston Harbor Hotel with a special Easter Sunday brunch created by Chef Daniel Bruce. With seatings from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in both The Atlantic Room and Meritage Restaurant + Wine Bar, the massive brunch offerings include seafood dishes like pasty wrapped Atlantic salmon and scallops along with traditional Easter dishes like mustard roasted sliced Virginia ham with grilled oyster mushrooms and favas. Breakfast dishes, including omelets and pancakes, will be available until 1 p.m.

4 Beat Brasserie

An Easter celebration doesn't get much better when it's paired with live jazz. If you are looking for a lively family gathering, head to Beat Brasserie for an à la carte brunch, dinner specials, an Easter egg hunt and live music all day. The à la carte brunch menu features Executive Chef Ignacio Lopez' specialties including Greek Easter lemon lamb soup and entrees like roast spiral ham, roast beef or roast lamb shoulder with tomatoes, oregano, spring peas and whipped potatoes. A live jazz band gets started at 10 a.m.

5 Aura Restaurant

Over in the Seaport District, Aura Restaurant is hosting a spectacular Easter brunch complete with French toast, eggs Benedict, leg of lamb and smoked salmon. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Lance Houston Jazz Quartet will be playing while kids enjoy a visit from the Easter bunny and an Easter egg hunt. Chef Robert Tobin has created a specialty brunch menu that includes breakfast dishes like eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon, a specialty Black Bean Benedict TAMO black bean slider with sautéed spinach, smoked chili hollandaise, ricotta blintzes and pancakes with caramelized bananas and Chantilly cream. Lunch offerings include Caesar salad with shaved parmesan cheese, New England clam chowder, cheese tortellini Bolognese, baked salmon with creamed spinach, roasted sirloin with horseradish cream and leg of lamb with tamarind sauce. Kids will love the chocolate fountain complete with fruit, marshmallows and pretzels.
