It’s no secret that Las Vegas is a serious foodie city. There are no shortages of fine-dining restaurants to pick from, but what about when you’re craving some serious baked goods or desserts? No matter if it’s breakfast, lunch or a decadent dessert, these five gourmet bakeries will leave you beyond satisfied every time.
1 Bouchon Bakery at The Venetian
Time Magazine has called Thomas Keller “the best chef in America” and his Bouchon Bakery at The Venetian will blow you away with all the lavish and first-class selections on-hand. From almond croissants and blueberry muffins for breakfast, to rich macaroons and decadent chocolate dishes for dessert, there’s literally nothing here that you won’t want to devour immediately. We also have to call out the beignets, which are served warm and with some tasty dipping sauces. These alone are worth the price of admission to one of Sin City’s most talked about bakeries.

The cookies, blondie bars and cakes are among the most delicious and creative you will find. When you’re looking to impress or simply just want to pick up something sweet to bring home, make way for Freed’s Bakery.

3 Jean-Phillippe Patisserie at Bellagio Hotel & Casino
You can indulge in the rich flavors of world pastry champion, Jean-Philippe Maury at his award-winning bakery inside the Bellagio hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Once you step inside and take in the floor-to-ceiling presentations of chocolate (including a beautiful fountain that’s right out of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory), you will see why this place has earned so many accolades. 4 Paris Baguette At The Venetian
When it comes to fine pastries and decadent baked goods, the Paris Baguette inside The Venetian hotel is one of our go-to spots on The Strip. Their desserts are a slice of heaven and you can’t go wrong with their many selections of fresh macaroons, rich puddings and of course cakes. Our favorites include the Blueberry Yogurt and Red Velvet selections, which are light, indulgent and topped with heaping amounts of fresh fruit.

5 Nothing Bundt Cakes
If you’ve never experienced the miniature versions of classic Bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes, you simply haven’t lived. Founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz started the chain in 1997 and it has since become the premiere sweets stop for Sin City locals. Nothing Bundt Cakes is now a nationwide chain, but the passion for producing top-quality cakes and baked goods utilizing only the freshest ingredients remains as strong as ever. If you stop into one of their two locations in Las Vegas, you’re liable to encounter a line, so we highly recommend calling ahead. Be sure to sample their new Chocolate Turtle Bundt cake for a real treat or you can never go wrong with the classic cinnamon swirl, carrot or lemon flavors either.
