New England Patriots Super Bowl Champion Patrick Chung is taking center stage tonight at Splitsville and Howl at the Moon Patriot Place in Foxboro for his second annual Open Mic Karaoke Fundraiser being held to benefit his fundraiser, Chung Changing Lives, and the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. Boston actor Lenny Clarke will host a live auction and the event will be emceed by former Patriots player Jermaine Wiggins with more than a dozen Patriots players on hand to perform their favorite tracks. Robert Kraft, Jerod Mayo and Chandler Jones attended last year’s event.

Also being held tonight at the Huntington Theater, some of Boston’s biggest names are coming together to celebrate the art of poetry and its role in inspiring leadership. This year’s lineup includes everyone from Jody Adams of Rialto, David McCullough Sr., Pulitzer Prize winning historian; Diane Patrick Esq., Former First Lady of Massachusetts; Tom Ashbrook, Host of WBUR’s On Point; Margret McKenna, civil rights attorney, President of Suffolk University; Ed Davis, Former Police Commissioner of the City of Boston and Peter Wolf, former lead singer for the J. Geils Band. The evening will raise money for Mass Poetry’s programs, including Student Days of Poetry, which brings poetry to students in under-served school districts.

Fashionistas won’t want to miss Denise Hajjar’s Fashion Show being held tomorrow night at the InterContinental Hotel in Boston. The holiday fashion show is being held at the RumBa Rum Bar & Champagne Lounge from 6 to 8 p.m. After checking out some pieces from her latest winter collection, you can shop after for the perfect gift to finish off your Christmas shopping.

On Wednesday, head to Chopps American Bar & Grill is hosting a four-course Sons of Liberty Spirits dinner paired with Executive Chef Jeff Williams’ dishes. Get started at 6:30 p.m. with a scallop with paprika, pineapple, hazelnut, yogurt and micro celery before moving onto a sampling of sockeye salmon with buttercup squash paired with a pumpkin sour made with Sons of Liberty’s (and our favorite) pumpkin spicy whiskey. The main event features River Rock Farms New York Strip paired with an Old Fashion Uprising made with the American single malt whiskey.
