On Saturday, December 5, Hublot and Haute Living capped off a busy week of Art Basel event collaborations by giving back.
The two companies hosted a charity brunch celebration to benefit the Black Jaguar White Tiger organization at Tamarina in Miami. Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe announced a new partnership with the foundation by unveiling a massive Mr. Brainwash mural in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami. Hublot is also commemorating the new partnership with a special edition Hublot timepiece due to arrive in 2016.
The luxury Swiss watch brand, along with Haute Living, auctioned two artworks by artists Romero Britto and Mr. Brainwash. The sale of the two art pieces raised $200,000 for the foundation.
The charity brunch was a fitting end to the week-long festivities of Art Basel. Reflecting on the event as a whole, Ricardo Guadalupe said “It was an honor to bring our brand to Miami this week to take part in the country’s most coveted celebration of the Arts. At Hublot, we strive to Be First, Be Unique, and Be Different. Not only are we at the forefront of luxury timekeeping, design, and innovation, but also we constantly break the mold and offer our clients what they cannot find elsewhere. We are thrilled to bring to life the Art of Fusion concept and to celebrate with our friends here in Miami.”
