During the month of December, Las Vegas has a number of fun and festive places for you to go to see some absolutely stunning seasonal displays that are assured to get you into the holiday spirit. We’ve rounded up five of our favorites for you to check out that feature plenty of Sin City’s extravagance and bright lights.

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens


Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at the Bellagio’s iconic conservatory & botanical gardens. Through January 3, 2016, you can immerse yourself into am actual winter wonderland that include thousands of lights displayed throughout 28,000 poinsettias and your jaw will drop to the floor once you lay your eyes on the massive 42-foot tall holiday tree that serves as the centerpiece. The tree alone boasts 7,000 white LED lights and 2,500 ornaments, along with two 12-foot-tall animated snow globes. Simply put, this is one of the most impressive and lavish holiday displays you will encounter in the world.

The Palazzo Waterfall Atrium


The beautiful, multi-story atrium inside The Palazzo hotel gets decked out during each season throughout the year, but they really push the envelope when it comes to the holiday display. The atrium features a giant waterfall, domed skylight and hundreds of different types of exotic flowers. Seeing this paired with traditional holiday decor is really a sight to see. When it comes to classy and elegant holiday displays, The Palazzo’s Waterfall Atrium is second to none in Sin City.

Santa in the Shipwreck at Mandalay Bay

Each year the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay gets a holiday makeover that makes this the perfect place to bring the entire family. With a paid admission, your little ones will be not only treated to seeing all the sharks, but they will also get a complimentary photo with Santa and his “elf,” Santa Jaws. You will also get to see Santa put on his holiday scuba gear and dive deep into the Shipwreck waters to treat everyone to a proper send-off each day.

Opportunity Village Magical Forrest


The Magical Forrest at Opportunity Village is a popular tradition for Las Vegas locals each holiday season. The non-profit turns its massive grounds into a mini-version of the North Pole each night and there are all sorts of fun things to do here in addition to walking through an actual forest with hundreds of brightly lit up trees. There’s Rudolph’s raceway, an enchanted carousel, super fun Avalanche slide, festive mini-golf, and nightly entertainment that will appeal to all ages. Plus, you can take photos with Santa in his workshop and parking is always free. The locals love it here and you will too.

Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
